Al Read is originally from Bennington, Vermont, but loves Colorado where he now resided

Al formed his first Band at age 16 in South Carolina. He was inspired at an early age by his Uncle, Roger Keyes who taught him to play guitar. He performed for years throughout the New England area, later moving to Tennessee for 10 years. Al recorded two of his many original songs with George Jones' Band in the late 1970‘s.

In 2010, Al released one Album called "Heavy Haul Country" containing 12 original songs. The following year, Al released a song and video dedicated to our Men and Women of the US MILITARY  entitled, "God, Keep' Em Safe".
